FEED A CHILD

Feed a Child is registered in terms of Section 18a Public Benefit Organisations (PBO). The Feed a Child team works relentlessly with people who want to eradicate poverty and make a difference by striving to bring some hope to these children in need as well as building a vision to give them a brighter future.

Arnau van Achterbergh, Feed a Child’s managing director, confirms that; “Centurion is a business hub in South Africa and yet it remains poverty stricken. Perpetual social programmes have often attracted donor funding from different organizations. By

deploying proper management of this social funding we can create a better and safer future for all. Feed a Child is pioneering the development and deployment of innovative solutions to ensure project and programme delivery to community based organizations and to donors alike.”

Feed A Child will invite 3000 children from Centurion’s poverty stricken communities to attend the event. The children will be transported from their schools, accompanied by a small group of teachers. Each child will receive a mobile vegetable garden kit, a t-shirt and some other freebies that might be sponsored.

The children will be divided into groups of 100 (each group with a different t-shirt to indicate which restaurant they will be eating at).
